"My mother says I came out of the womb swingin' big" says Lucky. So, his parents bought him his first drum kit at age 3, which was , of course, a Muppet ANIMAL kit. "That kit didn't last so long." said Erickson "I finally got my first REAL kit at age 10. It was a 1962 Slingerland 4 piece and it absolutely was the beginning of a lifetime of drumming."
Lucky has played, jammed or sat in with many regional and national acts over the years. He has spent countless hours in the studio and on the stage building his musical resume. Locally you may remember that he shared the stage with Scott and Brian before, when he rocked the rhthyms for Lyvid. Erickson was also the favorite drummer of radio host, Russ Rollins, when he was crushing the drums in a band called FLO. Other notables include Shine, Son of Man, Machina, Crankcase and currently thumpin' out the originals with rock band, Tranquilizer, when he is not busy playing his favorite tunes with Full Circle.
"We are extremely excited to have Lucky join the Full Circle lineup. He is a perfect fit for this high energy band." says Scott. Look for Lucky laying down the groove with Full Circle at a club near you. Check the website often, as we are constantly updating with new shows and Full Circle events.
